CLASSICAL PIANO RECORDINGS

APRIL 1992 LIVE RECORDING

Edward Macan recorded his landmark transcription of Emerson, Lake and Palmer’s “Tarkus” suite
live on April 1, 1992, at the Shannon Center for the Performing Arts, Whittier College, Whittier, California,
on a Steinway grand piano. Charles Minnear was the engineer. This recording was included
as a bonus track on the second Hermetic Science CD, Prophesies, Magnetic Oblivion Records 2-MERM2-99,
released in September 1999. Now that the Prophesies CD is sold out and there are
no plans to reprint it, the recording is being made available for free download.
In the event of digital redistribution, this recording should be credited to "Edward Macan, pianist."
